Terms

These are the terms you use Just So under. Using the service means accepting them. They are written to be read; if something here is unclear, write to [email protected] and ask.

What the service does

Just So builds a profile from what you give it, finds and assesses job positions, writes a CV and a cover letter for each one, and applies on your behalf. It is run privately by its owner and is at pilot stage.

Applications are sent at your direction

Every application goes out because you asked for it. You choose the positions, you see the CV and cover letter before anything is sent, and you press Apply. If you turn on Auto apply, applications go as soon as the documents are generated. That is still your instruction, given once instead of each time, and the setting is off until you turn it on.

An application sent this way is your application. It goes to the employer under your name, and you are responsible for it in exactly the way you would be if you had filled the form in yourself.

Your materials are yours to get right

Everything the service writes is built from what you supply: your documents, your details, your answers. You are responsible for those being accurate and honest, and for having the right to supply them. Nothing here checks whether a claim in your CV is true.

You keep ownership of everything you upload and of the documents written for you. You give the service permission to use that material for the purpose of running your job search, and nothing else.

Your account

One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not use the service to apply for jobs on somebody else's behalf, to misrepresent who you are, or in any way a job portal or an employer forbids.

Your own AI subscription

The service runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription. You need one, and your use of it stays subject to that provider's terms. If your subscription lapses or runs out of quota, the service cannot do the work.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is, with no guarantee of any kind. It cannot promise that an application will be delivered, that a portal will accept it, that a document will be free of mistakes, or that you will get an interview. Some portals defeat it, and when they do it tells you so.

To the extent the law allows, its owner is not liable for anything that follows from using it, including an application that failed to arrive, arrived with a mistake in it, or was not the one you would have sent. Read what is generated for you before you approve it.

Ending it

You can stop using the service at any time, and ask for your account and everything in it to be deleted by writing to [email protected].

Your account may be suspended or closed if it is used in a way that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk. Where that is not the reason, you will be told first and given a chance to take your data with you. Being a pilot, the service may also be changed or withdrawn; you will be given notice before anything is deleted.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. When they do in a way that matters, the page will say so and the date at the top will move. Continuing to use the service after that is how the change is accepted.
